Ninja Performance EGR Delete Box

Use this Ninja Performance EGR Delete Box to keep the EGR CEL/Check Engine Light from popping up when deleting/removing the EGR setup on your engine using the Ninja Performance EGR Block Off Plates on your off road vehicle.

The EGR system is used to lower emissions during idle and cruise by routing used combustion exhaust gasses back into the engine via the EGR valve through the surge tank/upper plenum.

Over time, the EGR system causes carbon buildup on the piston crowns that can heat up during combustion and get hot enough to glow, and therefore cause the air/fuel charge to pre ignite, ie go off before spark ignition. Which is bad.

Removing the EGR can keep your engine and air intake system cleaner, cleaner piston crowns, less pre ignition, a cleaner engine bay and will make it easier to service the engine, including making it easier to remove upper surge tank (upper manifold) during engine servicing.

Designed and built in house at Ninja Performance with materials manufactured in the USA. The black matte textured components box is RoHS Compliant, safe to 205F, Flame Retardant, comes with dual mounting tab base, and is manufactured in the USA. Built with electronics rated 8 times the required strength for durability.

This Ninja Performance EGR Delete electronic box is for models with an EGR temperature sensor as shown in the image below.

WARNING - Removing the EGR without using this Delete Box may cause your vehicle to fail emissions, both actual and visual. 1991-1993 California Spec and 1994-1999 vehicles will throw a CEL.

Ninja Performance does not recommended bypassing any of the factory emissions equipment or installing parts to falsely pass any state automotive emission tests.

Intended for off road/race car use. Use on your street car at your own risk as it is not legal in many states to alter the emissions equipment on a Street registered vehicle.

Comes complete with install instructions and (2) crimp butt connectors so you can crimp or solder the Delete Box into the vehicle wiring harness.
