A very common problem with the Mitsubishi 3000GT/Dodge Stealth is what has been named the dreaded Click Click no Start issue. Over time and usage over the years the ignition key assembly gets worn and electrical wires degrade causing higher impedance and lowered power output from the ignition out to the many different points in the electrical system. The power wire that triggers the starter to engage and spin the engine comes directly off the ignition key and was sufficient when it was newer, but now with over 20 yrs on the clock the just barely sufficient starter trigger wire can no longer supply enough power to the starter solenoid. When this occurs, starting the car become difficult or even impossible. As the key is turned into the start position the starter just clicks instead of engaging the starter ring and turning the engine, this is due to the starter solenoid not getting enough power to via the ignition key, Instead of the starter turning the engine it just clicks every time the key is turned to the start position.
