Replace your cracked, missing, and or leaking Oil Cap and Seal with this Billet Aluminum 3 Diamond Oil Cap and Seal Includes a Gun Metal Billet Aluminum Oil Cap with Seal. Unlike most 6G72 oil caps, the stud that the retainer plate attaches to is staked after installing the mounting nut as seen in image below. This keeps the nut, and therefore the retainer plate, from backing out, which keeps the retaining plate and nut from becoming lose and ending up in your engine. Finished in a Light Gunmetal to a very high quality smooth shiny surface free of imperfections. This is one of the higher quality Oil Caps we have seen over the years and are proud to offer another high quality product to our customers for a reasonable price. To ensure proper alignment with all valve covers, due to wear and machining differences over the years, the center metal medallion is not pre affixed, so that the customer can install the oil cap onto their valve cover and then affix the metal medallion in perfect orientation.
