Replace your old, hard, brittle PCV Hose. This is the hose that connects the PCV valve to the lower plenum. It is part of the PCV system. When they get old they get very hard and brittle and are prone to leaking causing the Valve Stem Seals to not seal causing excessive oil burning. Cracks and leaks also cause idle issues.
