Mitsubishi 3000GT Stealth AWD Input Shaft Bearing MR166730 Aftermarket |
Replace your worn out noisy and clattering Bell Housing side Input Shaft Bearing with this New Bearing. This is the Input Shaft Bearing on the Bell Housing side. It gets pressed into the bell housing and secured with a C Clip. This is NOT the Original Genuine OEM German Manufactured Getrag Bearing, it is an aftermarket replacement part. The Genuine OEM Getrag Bearings are no longer available to order from Mitsubishi Japan/Getrag. Stock ran out back in 2015, they are discontinued. We have a very limited supply of the Original Genuine OEM German Manufactured Getrag Bearings. The Genuine OEM Getrag Input Shaft Bearings are easily identified when compared to the NON OEM Replacements. The NON OEM Replacement Bearing is 100% shiny silver. The Genuine OEM Getrag Input Shaft Bearing is shiny silver on the bearing end but a matte grey finish on the sleeve end of the bearing as seen in the product images. Bearing Includes Oring Fits: 1991-1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT Getrag AWD 5 spd and 6spd 1991-1996 Dodge Stealth Getrag AWD 5 spd and 6spd As with most of the parts listed on this site, we maintain a good number of this Transaxle Bearing in stock at all times. If you are in a rush to complete your repairs and need to double check inventory before placing your order, please use the Contact Us link on the lower right side of the site. Genuine OEM Getrag Snap Ring Available This bearing does NOT come with the Snap Ring. The Snap Ring is often damaged and or bent during removal especially after it has been removed and re installed multiple times. We have a VERY limited supply of Genuine OEM Getrag German Manufactured Snap Rings for this Input Shaft Bearing. Add a Genuine Getrag OEM Input Shaft Bearing Snap Ring to this Bearing order by adding it to your cart! ALWAYS make sure there is no visible excessive wear on the transaxle input shaft where the seal inside the Input Shaft Bearing seals up against the shaft. Over time the spring loaded rubber seal inside this bearing will wear on the metal input shaft where the seal contacts. You will find this occurring on other parts like the cam shafts and crankshaft. ANY wear or groove on the sealing surface of the shaft will cause premature failure of your new seal inside this bearing. At the very least you will have a slow transaxle fluid leak, at worst this leak will cover your clutch disc which will cause premature failure of the clutch disc. Wear or grooving on the shaft where the seal contacts can and will tear/destroy the seal. Over the years, repairing more of these transaxles than almost any other shop/person, I have seen many worn/grooved input shafts and they are only becoming more the than the exception. CHECK before just installing another input shaft bearing. |
