This is a Genuine BOSCH JDM Part (Japanese Domestic Market, this item is not normally imported by BOSCH into the United States, and therefore needs to be purchased/imported directly from Japan) This adapter moves the rear wiper blade to the other side of the wiper arm. This changes how the wiper blade is moved across the glass. This adapter changes the wiper blade from being pushed down to being pulled down across the glass. Customers have reported that this makes the blade glide across the glass smoother and quieter, especially as the wiper blade ages.
